Curtains down
outside empty
inside is a magical town
Everyone rushing
trying to get things done

Lights on
curtains up
crowd awaiting
grace, beauty, charisma
come out under the viel
crowd quietly observe their masterpiece act
A critic from behind observes taking mental notes
Constrictive or destructive

Lights out
curtains down
outside empties out
inside a magical town
but everyone's tired.
Removing everything
heading home.
Everything shuts down
This is our world
Every day

When lights go on
And curtains go up
We put on a show
Once all over
we go back into their crypts
And our shells
Allow the dark take us away
a vicious cycle...

The cycle of living.
